Novak Djokovic v Alejandro Davidovich Fokina Head to Head
Their only previous meeting came at Rome earlier this year and Djokovic registered a straight-set win over Fokina in that round of 16 encounter. Another chance for Djokovic to do the same at the same stage.

Djokovic Proving More and More Insurmountable
Djokovic’s last competitive defeat came in May this year. His last defeat to a player not named Nadal came in April. And he has lost only two non-Nadal matches all season.
Since that latter defeat to Aslan Karatsev in Belgrade, Djokovic has won 24 of his 25 matches, which includes two in these games.
In his opener, Djokovic had creamed past Hugo Dellien 6-2, 6-2 and while Jan-Lennard Struff proved to be a bigger threat, the Serb was in mood to relent. He faced just one break-point in the first set, en route a break of serve in the 10th game which pocketed him the lead.
In the second set, Djokovic and Struff exchanged an early couple of breaks but once he had got himself a second break of serve in the fourth game, it was all over bar the shouting.
Off his second match-point in the ninth game there, Djokovic completed a 6-3, 6-4 victory to race into the third round.

Davidovich Fokina Needs Three against Millman
After having strolled past Pedro Sousa in his opening round victory, Fokina was stretched to three sets by Australia’s John Millman before he registered his victory to make it to the round of 16.
Fokina looked to be headed towards a straightforward win when he won the opening set and went a break up in the second to take a 5-3 lead but Millman fought back from then on. He broke right back, pushed the set into a tie-breaker and then clinched it 7-4.
It quickly turned out for the Spaniard though as he broke twice to go 5-1 up and while Millman did get one of those breaks back, there was no looking back for the Spaniard this time around.
Off his fourth match, Fokina clinched the match and a place in round three of the competition. The Spaniard will now need to do a lot better than he has in the past to think of troubling Djokovic.
Djokovic v Davidovich Fokina Prediction and Tip
No surprises on the kind of odds you would get for a Djokovic win here, especially given that on clay he had demolished Fokina earlier this year. Expect something similar but we could see over 17.5 games in the encounter.
Tip: Djokovic to win AND Over 17.5 games: 1/1 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
