Benoit Paire v Miomir Kecmanovic Head to Head
Benoit Paire has been involved in just one, career, head-to-head meeting with Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic till date. The pair met in the second round of the 2019 Wimbledon Championships, with the Frenchman declared a winner by virtue of a walkover from his injured opponent. Paire was leading by two sets when Kecmanovic pulled out.

Paire Lost to Schwartzman in Toronto
Following up on an opening-round defeat to Mackenzie McDonald of the US at Washington Open, Paire had his revenge in Toronto as he trounced the same opponent in his opening fixture at the Canadian Open.
However, the maverick Frenchman, ranked 50th in singles currently, couldn’t bring home the gravy against World No. 14 Diego Schwartzman as he went down to the Argentine in straight sets to crash out of the tournament.
Though Paire did well enough to stay in the contest in the opening set, the Argentine profited on a break of serve to win it 7-5.
The second set, however, was more of a no-contest as the World No.14 ran roughshod over the Frenchman to close out an emphatic 7-5, 6-1 victory.
After a series of uninspiring outings on the circuit that led many to question his level of motivation for the sport, Paire had his moments this year, finishing in the quarter-finals at the German Open and Swiss Open.
Against Kecmanovic, the Frenchman faces a tough, opening-round opponent who will bring the trademark Serbian spirit and gutsiness into play and come out all guns blazing against him.

Kecmanovic Struggled Last Week in Canada
Coming into the Canadian Open on the back of an opening-round defeat to Ricardas Berankis of Lithuania, Kecmanovic slipped on the concrete again in Toronto as he went down fighting to former World No.4 Kei Nishikori.
After losing the first set, the Serbian forced himself back into contention by taking the second in a tiebreak and the match to a decider.
However, he was no match for the seasoned Japanese star in the deicing set as Nishikori closed out a 6-4, 6-7 (5-7), 6-2 win.
For someone who has just one career Tour title to his name thus far, the Serbian won’t have it easy against Paire in his Cincinnati opener.
Paire v Kecmanovic Prediction and Tip
A lot of how this opening-round encounter in Cincinnati pans out will depend on whether it’s the competitive Paire or the listless, uninspiring one that shows up for battle.
Tip: Paire to win in three sets: 3/1 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
