Aslan Karatsev v Adrian Mannarino Head to Head
The pair have never played each before. This will be the first match between the 33-year-old Frenchman, and the Russian, who is five years younger.

Mannarino Stuns Hurkacz
Mannarino, after several years of indifferent form, would have had low expectations for himself coming into this tournament.
And, when he found himself two sets to one down against local man, James Duckworth, the world number 49, in their first round match, it seemed like his challenge was over before it had barely begun.
However, he fought back, and won the next two sets, to earn himself a second round match with the world number 11, and tenth seed, Hubert Hurkasz of Poland.
Although the clear underdog, Mannarino dominated the match almost from the moment that he broke the Pole for the first time in the middle of the first set, having had three earlier break points saved.
And then the Poole dropped his serve again in the opening game of the second set.
Mannarino had to save three break points in his next service game, but the Frenchman went further ahead with another break, and was soon two sets up.
Two more breaks put him in control of the third set and, although Hurkacz briefly threatened a comeback with a break of his own, his challenge soon fizzled out, and Mannarino duly served out after just over two hours on court.

Sydney Winner Karatsev Hoping to Continue Solid Run
Karatsev, whose victory in the Sydney warm-up event over Andy Murray came too late to be reflected in his seedings, has by no means had things his own way in Melbourne so far, needing to come from two sets to one down to overcome the challenge of the Spaniard, Jaume Munar, the world number 71, in his first round match.
That earned him a second round tie with the American, Mackenzie McDonald, and initially he struggled against the world number 55, dropping his opening service game of the match, McDonald consolidating his lead to take the first set.
The Russian though hit back strongly with an early break of his own in the second set and then followed that up with another to level the match,
Signs that the momentum had definitively shifted his way came when he broke the American twice at the start of the third set and, although one of them was then surrendered, he broke again to take the lead.
McDonald gave himself brief hope with an early break in the fourth but it was only fleeting. He dropped his serve next game and then once more, and Karatsev was able to close out the match with no further alarms.
Mannarino v Karatsev Prediction and Tip
Mannarino has done better than he would have expected in Melbourne ,and can take great heart from his victory over Hurkasz. But Karatsev has already tasted victory on Australian soil this year and will be hungry for more.
