Grigor Dimitrov v Mackenzie McDonald Head to Head
The pair have played each other once before, in the second round of the Australian Open in 2018, Dimitrov winning their second round match in five sets.

Indian Wells Quarter-Finalist Dimitrov
Dimitrov has twice reached the last eight in Miami, although the more recent of those occasions was back in 2016, when he was a top five player.
The following year he won the ATP Finals in London, but he has not tasted success on the tour since.
The Bulgarian has had a mixed start to his season, although he began well by reaching the semi-finals of the Melbourne Summer Set event.
A series of early defeats followed, but he experienced something of a return to form in Indian Wells, where he reached the quarter-finals for the second successive year, beating John Isner in the process, before losing to Andriy Rublev.
He was given a bye into the second round in Florida.

McDonald Fights His Way into the Second Round
2021 was something of a breakthrough year for McDonald, who reached his first ATP Final in Washington before losing to Jannik Sinner, reached a career high ranking, and won a Challenger title, the third of his career.
He has been treading water largely in 2022, although he did reach the quarter-final in Dubai, before he too suffered defeat at the hands of Rublev.
In Indian Wells, he began his campaign with a good batting win over the Hungarian, Maron Fucsovics, but was then beaten by the Spanish teenager Carlos Alcaraz.
McDonald, though, has made the second round in Miami for the third time in his career, after coming from behind to beat the German world number 64 Dominik Koepfer.
The American began the match well, breaking Koepfer in the opening game of the match, but he could not hold on to the advantage, Koepfer broke back and after the pair exchanged breaks once more, it went to a tie-break where the German made his sixth set point count.
The first four games of the second set went against serve, until the match settled down again. Serving to stay in the set, Koepfer though offered McDonald a break opportunity, which he seized, and the match was level.
Both men had their noses in front in the third set, as fortunes fluctuated, McDonald had the chance to serve for the match but could not take it, and allowed himself to be broken once more. Unfortunately for Koepfer, when it was his turn to serve next game, he proved equally fallible, and McDonald was finally able to put the match to bed.
Dimitrov v McDonald Prediction and Tip
If Dimitrov brings his Indian Wells form with him, then the Bulgarian should be able to deal with the challenge of a man who made very heavy weather of his first round match.
