Emma Raducanu v Storm Sanders Head to Head
Raducanu won their only meeting in Nottingham last year.

Raducanu Making Her Clay Court Debut
World No. 12 Emma Raducanu will be playing her first-ever clay court tournament in Stuttgart, beginning Wednesday. The 19-year-old has never played a tournament on the surface on either WTA or ITF Tours.
She, however, registered her first win on clay over Tereza Martincova in the Billie Jean King Cup over the weekend.
The 2021 U.S. Open champion hasn’t enjoyed a good time so far this season. She brings a 3-6 season record to Stuttgart and although the focus will be on the Brit, she wouldn’t be expected to go too far. However, she should begin with a win.
Raducanu, who practiced in Tottenham Hotspur kit, on Monday, won her three matches against Sloane Stephens at the Australian Open, Carolina Garcia at Indian Wells and Martincova over the weekend. But with losses outnumbering her wins she will be really concerned as she prepares for her Stuttgart debut.

Sanders Comes Through Qualifiers
Storm Sanders made it to the main draw with back-to-back straight set wins over German players in the qualifying rounds.
The 27-year-old Aussie first defeated Mara Guth 6-3, 6-2 and then ousted Tamara Korpatsch 6-3, 6-4 to qualify for the main event.
Ranked 197th in the world, Sanders is 0-4 in the main draws this season. Better known for her doubles game, Sanders won her third career doubles title and a first WTA 500 title in Adelaide along with Ashley Barty at the start of the season.
While she tends to do well on hard and grass courts, Sanders doesn’t enjoy much playing on clay, at least the numbers reflect that.
Can she win her first main draw match of the season?
