Sebastian Korda v Frances Tiafoe Head to Head
The pair have played each other twice before and Tiafoe has won on each occasion, although both previous meetings were on hard courts, in New York indoors in 2018, and at Indian Wells last year.

Korda Upsets Top Seed Augur-Aliassime
It was almost a year ago that Korda first made a name for himself, by winning his first ATP title on the Italian clay of Emilio Romagna.
And now he is within touching distances of another final after a surprisingly easy victory over the top seed, Felix Augur-Aliassime of Canada, the world number 10, late on Friday night.
Certainly the long delay in the locker room waiting for the Tiafoe match to finish did not seem to affect the American as he was quick out of the blocks.
He broke the Canadian in the third game of the match, and again in his next service game, and wrapped up the first set in just 45 minutes.
An early break put Korda in control of the second set as well and, when he broke again, the top seed was in deep trouble. He briefly fought back with a break of his own, but immediately dropped his serve again, and a few minutes later, Korda put him out of his misery.

Tiafoe Grinds it out Against Spaniard
For a man that was feeling unwell when he arrived in Portugal and needed a medical time-out in his first round match, Tiafoe has shown remarkable powers of recovery.
No more was that evident than in his quarter-final against Alejandro Davidovich-Fokina of Spain, the number four seed, the man who recently finished runner-up at the Monte Carlo Masters.
It was the Spaniard who drew first blood in the first set with the opening break of the match, but Tiafoe levelled straight away, and, although he had five further break points saved, he was able to win the subsequent tie-break.
However, Davidovich-Fokina forced an early break of serve in the second set, and had two set points saved. Then, serving to serve for the set, the Spaniard dropped his serve, only to level the match with another break.
They had already been on court for more than two hours by this point, and the third set had yet to start.
When it did, an early break saw the Spaniard race into a 4 – 1 lead. He then had the chance to serve for the match and was within two points of victory. But, like a boxer knocked to the canvas, Tiafoe picked himself up, and forced a break of his own.
And then he seized the initiative when he broke once more.
It was with a mixture of relief and exhaustion that he served out.
Korda v Tiafoe Prediction and Tip
Although Korda will be the better rested of the pair, Tiafoe has won their two previous meeting and will be confident he can make it three.
