Madison Brengle v Anna Kalinskaya Head to Head
The pair have played each other twice before. Both matches were within a few weeks of each other in 2018, Kalinskaya winning in straight sets in Vancouver, and again at the US Open.

Brengle is one of those players who struggled for years on the junior circuits before finally breaking through to the main tour, with her third round appearance at the US Open in 2015 serving as her calling card.
She has won two Challenger finals – at Newport Beach in 2020 and in Midland a year later – and last month celebrated her first doubles title at that level with her partner Claire Liu on grass in Italy.
However, on the main tour, since reaching successive second rounds in Rome and at the French Open, she has failed to win a single match. She was beaten in the first round in Rosmalen, Gaiba (Italy), Eastbourne and Wimbledon, the last event in which she played.

Kalinskaya Doubles Winner in 2022
Kalinskaya is better known as a double’s player on the main tour –she has appeared in five finals and recorded her third win on home soil in St. Petersburg in February when partnered by the American Caty McNaly.
Her successes in singles have been limited to the ITF tour, where she is a seven-time winner.
So far, her best result of the year came back in Mexico in February, where she reached the semi-finals before losing to the eventual winner Sloane Stephens.
And she came through the qualification tournaments to make the third round in both Indian Well and Miami.
Her recent form has been more mixed, and she has not been beyond the second round of any event since Miami.
She was last in action in Hamburg, where she had to withdraw from her first round match with Magdalena Frech of Poland with an injury.
Brengle v Kalinskaya Prediction and Tip
Although the higher ranked of the two, Brengle is in a sustained poor run of form right now and, given that Kalinskaya has won their two previous matches, she will be confident she can maintain her winning streak against the American.
