Nick Kyrgios v Karen Khachanov Head to Head
There have been two previous iterations of this rivalry and the scoreline is 1-1 at the moment.
Khachanov had won their first meeting at the 2019 Cincinnati Masters, while Kyrgios came back to make it 1-1 at the 2020 Australian Open in a third round match that lasted five sets and had four tie-breakers in it.

Khachanov Needs Five But Surprises Carreno-Busta
Khachanov had gone into his fourth round match at 9/5 winning odds against the in-form Pablo Carreno-Busta but overcame those in a five-set win that lasted three hours and 23 minutes.
In a match which saw Khachanov face just two break-points off which he was broken both times, he retaliated with five breaks of his own to win 4-6, 6-3, 6-1, 4-6, 6-3 to claim his place in the quarterfinal – his first ever at the US Open.
Earlier in the tournament, Khachanov had overcome Denis Kudla, Thiago Monteiro and an injured Jack Draper but against Kyrgios, he will have to do a lot more of what he did to Carreno-Busta.
