Hometown Favourite Starting Well
Pablo Carreno Busta grew up in Gijon and playing in his native city is an experience he’ll never forget. Not many players have had the chance to do that and he showed a fairly high level of confidence in his first match against Monteiro.
It was a comfortable win and generally, Carreno Busta does play well indoors. He has a pretty solid serve that is very precise and his forehand can do a lot of damage in the right conditions. This year has been a great one for him, especially lately as he won the ATP 1000 event in Canada with his overall record being 32-20.
He faces a player that he never played before so that’s something he will need to think about especially if Rinderknech brings out the serve.
I think it’s a good matchup for him because he has enough weapons to win but he will need to be alert.

Rinderknech Back to Winning Ways
It’s been a few interesting weeks for Rinderknech who did not do too well on the courts. He was winning matches bu his play suffered as he was unable to produce a consistently good effort. It’s looking better this week with two wins against two very solid players who were in form.
Rinderknech, like most French players, does really well indoors and has played a lot indoors over the course of his career. The year overall has been very good with a 33-21 record and indoors it’s 6-2.
He went 26-14 indoors last year and much of that has to do with his serve.
He is one of those players that can get into a zone and his serves become almost unplayable. That’s a real danger for any player that plays against him and Pablo Carreno Busta will have the same issues. If he brings his best here it could get interesting.
Carreno Busta v Rinderkench Prediction and Tip
So this should be an interesting matchup but I do think Busta will win it. He’s the better player and he should have a good time in this one.
Tip: Carreno Busa to win in straight sets: 10/11 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
