Iga Swiatek v Cristina Bucsa Head to Head
Swiatek and Bucsa have never faced off before this.

Swiatek Form Slowly Growing Back after Injury Scare
Swiatek wasn’t feeling the best when she lost to Jessica Pegula in the United Cup earlier this year and there were talks about her shoulder giving her some worry. So far in this tournament, her performances haven’t pointed to anything remotely untoward with her fitness.
Because for the second match in a row, the world number one registered a straight-set win to make it to the third round, defeating Camila Osorio 6-2, 6-3 in 84 minutes.
The Polish player, who later explained she had changed her songs playlist for this tournament, did not have change too much with her game as she raced to a 4-0 lead in the opening set.
It was in the fifth game that Swiatek lost her serve for the first time – she would drop her serve again in the seventh game of the second – but there was no real danger of the world number one going down.
She broke right back – twice in fact – and then ran to a 5-1 lead in the second set as well.
What Swiatek will want is to improve on her winners-unforced errors stats, with just a difference of three between them. For a player who has won 22 of her last 25 matches, one would expect a better showing than that from her.

Bucsa Stuns Andreescu
In what turned out to be the turnaround of the round, Bucsa managed to overcome a second set match-point against her to carve out a three-set win over Bianca Andreescu and make the third round.
Bucsa, who was down a set, and then frittered away a 5-1 lead in the second set, looked to have lost all her confidence and fell 5-6 behind in the tie-breaker that followed. She saved the match-point and off her third set-point, clinched the equaliser.
In the third, the two players shared a couple of breaks of serves before Bucsa broke Andreescu again in the fifth game to carve out a decisive one. Her Canadian opponent failed to rise to the occasion despite having two more break-points from that point on as Bucsa made it through in two hours and 48 minutes.
Having won just one round at a Grand Slam before this, Bucsa has tripled her count in a matter of one Slam. Can she now test out the world number one?
Swiatek v Bucsa Prediction and Tip
Life on court has been easy for Swiatek so far and while she has had her issues at times, the world number one has gotten through them with ease. Expect another straight-set win which could see one tight set.
