Alex Molcan v Marton Fucsovics Head to Head
The pair have never played each other before. This will be the first match between the 25 year old Slovak, and the Hungarian, who is six years older.

Molcan Knocks Out Coric
This is the first time that the Slovak number one has appeared at Indian Wells, and, so far, he has enjoyed the experience. His first round opponent was fellow clay court player, Albert Ramos-Vinolas, the world number 50, who he heat in straight sets without any undue difficulty.
However, he could reasonably have expected to have his work cut out if he wanted to beat Borna Coric of Croatia, the number 18, in his second round match.
In the event, though, it was Molcan who came roaring out of the gate, racing into a four love lead in the first set, before Coric recovered one of the breaks.
Molcan did have to save a further break point, but went on to claim the set.
Both men had faced break points by the time that Coric was broken again in the third set.
From there Molcan was able to control things, and put the icing on the cake with one more break to seal the win.

Fucsovics Beats De Minaur
This is the first time that Fucsovics has reached the third round in Indian Wells, but his tournament looked like it would soon be over when he lost the first set to his opening match with the American JJ Wolf, the world number 44, for the gain of just one game.
However, in a dramatic turnaround, he won the second set to love, and then clinched the third set as well.
That earned him a match with the number 16 seed, Alex de Minaur of Australia, and, this time it was the Hungarian who started the stronger, with two consecutive breaks of serve. De Minaur, though, recovered them both, only to be immediately broken again.
Fucsovics was not prepared to let him off the hook this time and served out for the set.
Again the Hungarian broke early in the second set, and again de Minaur levelled only, to be broken again. The only difference this time is that Fucsovics left nothing to chance by securing another break, giving him the chance to wrap up proceedings on his own serve.
Molcan v Fucsovics Prediction and Tip
Whoever wins this match will be in the fourth round of the tournament for the first time in their careers. However, despite being lower ranked, Fucsovics can be considered the favourite because the surface favours him. Molcan is primarily a clay court player.
