Gasquet is returning to the Miami Masters for the 13th time. Since he made his debut at the tournament precisely 20 years ago, the Frenchman’s best result was in reaching the semifinal here in 2013.

O’Connell Gets In A Lucky Loser
With a spate of withdrawals at this year’s Miami Masters, Christopher O’Connell has been granted entry into the main draw as a lucky loser.
The Aussie had lost in the second round of qualifying to Japan’s Yosuke Watanuki in straight sets. But he has replaced the injured Jack Draper in the main draw.
O’Connell has actually recorded some strong results in the main draw of the ATP Tour, reaching the quarterfinal in Doha where he earned a mammoth win over defending champion Roberto Bautista Agut and reached the round of 16 in Dubai.
He hasn’t played a main draw match since falling to Alexander Zverev in Dubai, losing in the qualifying rounds at each of his last two Tour-level tournaments.
