Our 2023 ATP Geneva Open Predictions & Picks
Casper Ruud is the top seed and the red-hot favorite. The Norwegian seems to have put to bed his dark days of the first three months of the season and will look forward to winning his second title of the season.
Ruud has no shortage of competitors in Geneva. Taylor Fritz is the No. 2 seed and was surprisingly in decent form on clay reaching a first Masters 1000 semifinal in Monte Carlo.
Former top 10 players Zverev and Dimitrov have accepted wildcards adding to the intrigue in the outrights.
Spain’s Bernabe Zapata Miralles could be a dangerous outsider. He is seeded at No. 8 and has put together a 14-8 record on clay in 2023. Zapata Miralles made the second week in Madrid and lost to Medvedev in three sets in Rome. He’ll certainly be a handful for any of the top seeds owing to his clay-court prowess.
- Outright Winner Tip: Casper Ruud
- Outright Winner Dark Horse Tip: Bernabe Zapata Miralles
