Sebastian Korda v Dan Evans Head to Head
Sebastian Korda and Dan Evans have played once before, on grass at Wimbledon two years ago. The American won their third-round match in four sets.

Korda Seeks Improvement on Grass
Sebastian Korda was one of the ATP’s most in-form players Down Under. He started the season on fire, reaching the Adelaide final and holding a match point, but lost in three sets to Novak Djokovic.
Korda had his best showing at the Australian Open where he would advance into the quarterfinals for the first time and only a wrist injury prevented him from going further. He was forced to retire in his match against Karen Khachanov.
Korda missed three months due to the wrist issue and only returned to the court at the end of April for the clay swing. The American was woefully short of match sharpness and won one match in three tournaments.
Having looked odd-on to break the world’s top 20, Korda’s ambition has taken a hit as a result of the injury, and currently finds himself just outside the top 30.
He’ll be hoping for a headstart at the Queen’s on a surface he’s shown genuine promise in. Korda has a 6-5 record on grass, but he famously made the fourth round of Wimbledon in 2021, beating Dan Evans en route.

Evans in Dire Form
Dan Evans has also struggled mightily to get any sort of momentum this season, tallying a 9-16 record in the first half of the season.
Evans, who predominantly excels on fast courts, has surprisingly recorded his best results on clay, with two semifinal finishes in Marrakech and Barcelona respectively.
Outside clay, he has only won four matches all season, which doesn’t bode well for his chances against Sebastian Korda on grass.
His grass-court season began on the wrong foot. Last week, he fell to a shock straight sets loss to World No. 139 Gabriel Diallo at the Surbiton Challenger.
Evans has played at the Queen’s Club many times during his career. He has made the quarterfinals before but has registered a string of poor results. That trend might continue this year if Evans has no answers to Korda’s big hitting.
Korda v Evans Prediction and Tip
Korda’s form can be attributed to his lack of match play in recent months. But with Evans, the situation is different. He is playing without any sort of confidence whatsoever. Still, this is a tough one to call from the winner’s perspective, but we will likely get three sets here.
Tips:
- Low Risk Tip: Korda to win: 8/11
- Moderate Risk Tip: Three sets in the match: 11/10
