Madison Brengle v Sara Errani Head to Head
The pair have played each other three times before, and Errani has won on each occasion.
The first of those victories came in the Rogers Cup in Toronto in 2015, and the second in Dubai the following year.
More recently, the Italian won on grass at the Veneto Open last year.
All those matches have gone to three sets though.

Brengle Twice Made Wimbledon Third Round
Brengle has twice made the third round at Wimbledon, in 2016 and, again, in 2021.
Apart from one fourth round appearance at the Australian Open eight years ago is concerned, that represents the high water mark in Grand Slams for the American.
2015 was also the year when she reached her only senior WTA final, and that was also on Australian soil, losing to Heather Watson in Hobart.
In those days she was a top 40 player, but she begins this event outside the top 100 after several seasons of indifferent form.
Nor has she had much joy on grass so far this year.
She lost her first three matches on the surface, beaten in the first round in Surbiton, Nottingham and then Birmingham.
The American did win two matches to qualify for Eastbourne, but was promptly beaten in the first round by Caroline Garcia.

Errani’s Wimbledon Record Does Not Compare to Other Slams
Errani has been playing at Wimbledon since 2008, but one third round appearance in 2012 is the best she has managed, and she failed to get beyond the first round of qualifying on her past two visits.
That is in contrast to her record at the other Grand Slams, where she has reached the quarter-finals at least, and she was the beaten finalist in Paris in 2016.
However, she did win the Wimbledon doubles back in 2014 with partner Roberta Vinci.
Although it has been seven years since she won the last of her WTA senior titles, she did make a Challenger final in Mexico on clay in April, although she had to settle for the runners-up cheque.
She began her grass court season on home soil in Gaiba, but was beaten in the first round in that Challenger event.
Last week in Bad Homburg, she did make the second round, but then lost to the world number 41 Varvara Gracheva, in straight sets.
Brengle v Errani Prediction and Tip
Although Brengle has not been on the best of form on grass so far this season, she is still regarded as a clear favourite against a woman who has not even qualified for this tournament in the past two years, and whose best tennis years appear to lie in the rear view mirror.
Tips:
- Low Risk Tip: Brengle to win: 14/19
- Moderate Risk Tip: Over 21.5 games in the match: 1/1
