Players like Arthur Ashe, Bjorn Borg, Jimmy Connors and John McEnroe have all participated in this tournament in the past, and Roger Federer is the latest legend to have won the title here.
In fact, at the moment of writing Federer has won the title thrice, the joint-most by any player in the world. More information on the Rotterdam Open live streaming can be found below.
The 2020 edition of the Rotterdam Open or the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament was one of the last men’s tennis tournament played before the ATP tour went on a pause because of the coronavirus pandemic but things got back on track in 2021.

What Happened at the 2022 ATP Rotterdam Open?
It was Felix Auger-Aliassime who finally broke his own hoodoo when he won his maiden ATP title after having finished second in eight ATP singles finals before that.
The Canadian overcame Stefanos Tsitsipas in the title-decider, winning 6-4, 6-2 to lift the trophy.
Both Tsitsipas and Auger-Aliassime had needed three sets to win their semifinals, defeating Jiri Lehecka and Andrey Rublev respectively.
Andrey Rublev won the title in Rotterdam in 2021 when he overcame Hungarian qualifier Marton Fucsovics in the final. The fourth seeded Rublev had earlier dispatched Stefanos Tsitsipas in straight sets in the semifinal as well.
Both, Daniil Medvedev and Alexander Zverev were stunned in the first round, losing to Dusan Lajovic and Alexander Bublik respectively.
Earlier, it was two in two for Frenchman Gael Monfils as he relegated talented Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime to a 6-2, 6-4 defeat in the final of the 2020 tournament to lift the title.
The third seed was fortunate not to meet a single seeded player all tournament as the top seed Daniil Medvedev fell in the first round and the second seed Stefanos Tsitsipas lost in the second round of the competition.
Earlier, Monfils had won the 2019 Rotterdam Open title by beating Stan Wawrinka in the final of the competition, 6-3, 1-6, 6-2.
Interestingly, both Monfils and Wawrinka had entered the tournament as unseeded players, with the Swiss player even needing a wildcard to take part in the 2019 Rotterdam Open.
However, Monfils defeated eighth seeded David Goffin in his opening round and then fifth seeded Daniil Medvedev in the semifinal to make it to the title-decider. Wawrinka sent out fourth seeded Milos Raonic in the second round and then beat 10th seeded Denis Shapovalov to set up a meeting with the top seeded Kei Nishikori in the semis.
He overcame the loss of the first set to edge out the Japanese player and make the final.
Federer won the 2018 edition of the Rotterdam Open, making it his third title, joint highest with Arthur Ashe. He defeated Grigor Dimitrov, a player often called BabyFed by the media for his style of play that is so much like the legend himself.
The Swiss legend won the final 6-2, 6-2 to go to the top of the ATP Rankings. He dropped just one set in the entire tournament, a 6-4 loss in the quarter-finals to Robin Haase, a local in the competition. Dimitrov’s passage to the final was a lot tougher than Federer’s though, beating David Goffin in the semi-finals.
However, that lasted just a set before Goffin had to retire because of an injury. Alexander Zverev was sent out in round two by Andreas Seppi, while Stan Wawrinka, Lucas Pouille and Gilles Muller, the other seeded players, did not even reach the second round.
