With the Eastbourne International to be played just before the Wimbledon week, the tournament main draw could start one day before usual and the final might be held on Saturday, June 27. What Happened at the 2020 ATP Eastbourne International?
Taylor Fritz won the final against fellow American Sam Querrey to lift the title in the absence of the defending champion Mischa Zverev. He won in straight sets after having sent the third seeded Kyle Edmund of Great Britain packing in another straight-setter in the semifinals. In the other semis, Sam Querrey overcame Thomas Fabbiano.
None of the other top four seeds, bar Edmund, didn’t win a single match, bowing out in the second round following an opening bye.
