2023 WTA Nanchang Open Schedule & Dates
The 2023 edition of the Jiangxi Open in Nanchang will begin from Monday, September 11, the week after the US Open ended.
The qualifiers will be played in the lead-up to this opening round day while the women’s singles final will be hosted on Sunday, September 17.

What Happened at the 2022 Nanchang Open?
There was no tournament played in Nanchang in 2020, 2021 and 2022. The 2020 and 2021 editions were cancelled because of the pandemic and the 2022 one was suspended after the well-being of Chinese player Peng Shuai became an issue.
Fifth seeded Rebecca Peterson won the 2019 title at the Nanchang Open by beating the fourth seeded Elena Rybakina in a very straightforward manner. She won 6-2, 6-0 to lift the trophy. Earlier they had overcome Nina Stojanovic and Peng Shuai respectively in the semifinals to get to the title-decider.
Other seeded players, Linette, Golubic and Kozlova did make it to the quarterfinals while Shuai and Yafan bowed out even earlier.
