Ugo Humbert v Miomir Kecmanovic Predictions & Preview
When a 44th-ranked player takes on a 50th-ranked one, there might not be too much to choose from between them, as is the case with the match between Ugo Humbert and Miomir Kecmanovic. However, look at their head to head and it’s a different story altogether, with Kecmanovic having won all three of their meetings.
This includes one at the New York Open last week, where Kecmanovic needed three sets to get past Humbert in the quarterfinals. Kecmanovic then went down to Kyle Edmund in the semifinal. Humbert is coming off a title win at the Auckland Open as well, which makes him a force to reckon with despite what followed after that – first round defeats at the Australian Open and Montpellier Open.
And then again here at Delray, he needed three sets to get past the 367th-ranked Stefan Kozlov, an indicator he is still looking to regain the earlier form. Kecmanovic, as a result starts off a favourite at 8/13, and 6/4 to win this in straight sets.
Tip: Kecmanovic to win in straight sets: 6/4 (Click here to get these odds with bet365)

Tommy Paul v Frances Tiafoe Predictions & Preview
This will be the third time Frances Tiafoe will be facing off against fellow American player Tommy Paul, when they meet in the second round at the Delray Beach Open. Tiafoe leads Paul 2-0 on head to head but both those matches came four to five years ago.
Tiafoe had shown an early sparkle and he was tipped to be one of the Next Gen stars expected to go on to make it big. However, his form has fallen away; 2019 finishing with a 23-30 win-loss record and the start of this season having seen him switch to Challengers. Tiafoe lost in the third round at the Newport Beach Challenger and quarterfinal in Newport before winning a straight-set first round encounter.
Paul’s start to the season has taken him to his career-best of 70th in the world. He was a qualifier to the Adelaide International and went through to the semifinal before defeating Grigor Dimitrov at the Australian Open second round. An early defeat at New York looks to be an anomaly as he cruised past his first round opponent in straight sets here. Will be a tough cookie to beat for Paul.
Tip: Paul to win: 4/5 (Click here to get these odds with bet365)

Jack Sock v Steve Johnson Predictions & Preview
Jack Sock finally won a match, his first since 2018 as he overcame Radu Albot in three sets to set up this meeting with Steve Johnson. And this will be their 10th match against each other, with Sock shading his opponent 5-4 at the moment. The last time, however, they played was in 2017.
Johnson’s not played too many matches at the highest level this year, but holds a 12-4 win-loss record for the season. He won the title at the Bendigo Challenger, was a quarterfinalist at the Canberra Challenger and then made the semifinals in Newport Beach. Johnson did take that step up to play in New York last week where he fell to Andreas Seppi in the second round before defeating Henri Laaksonen here in his opener.
Sock’s lack of matches will play a huge part for obvious reasons against a battle-hardened Johnson and the latter should win this. Especially if it goes to the third set.
Tip: Johnson to win in straight sets: 10/11 (Click here to get these odds with bet365)
