Daria Kasatkina v Marie Bouzkova Head to Head

Anna Blinkova put up a bit of a fight towards the end of her second round match but in the end, it was her fellow Russian, Kasatkina who came away a winner in straight sets.
Kasatkina needed an hour and 35 minutes to come away a 6-2, 7-5 winner over Blinkova and seal her third round spot.
And while Kasatkina did win it in straight sets, there will be serious question-marks over her serving form coming into this next match. After all, she faced a whopping 19 break-points in the encounter and was broken six times.
She did overcome Blinkova serve on nine occasions in the match but by winning a mere 40 of the 84 points on her own serve, she made things very difficult for her own self.

Bouzkova Shocks Garcia
It was a bit of a surprise to see Bouzkova start off at 10/11 odds in her second round match against Caroline Garcia but she managed to come away a shock winner over her sixth-ranked opponent.
Having overcome Kayla Day in straight sets in the first round, Bouzkova was on court for two hours and 16 minutes to find herself a way past Garcia.
Bouzkova won 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 in a match that saw a whopping 25 break-point opportunities in total for both players. Bouzkova had 16 of them and she ended up with six breaks of serves. Garcia overcame her serve on four occasions but in the decider, Bouzkova had already taken a 5-0 lead before dropping her serve one last time.
She missed a match-point off her opponent’s serve in the seventh game before winning it off the third such opportunity.
Before this tournament, Bouzkova had won a mere four main draw matches in hardcourt competitions. Now she has the opportunity to make it seven.
