Katie Boulter v Peyton Stearns Head to Head
Their only previous meeting came at the Austin Open earlier this year and Stearns had won that opening round encounter in three tie-breakers.

Stearns Has No Worries against Tauson
Having surprised Anastasia Potapova in the opening round of the tournament, she was a bit of a favourite coming into the second round against Peyton Stearns. Stearns, however, has had a season to remember and while her recent performances have been slightly underwhelming, she knew she could pose a solid challenge.
As it turned out, not only did she put up a fighting display, she made it quite difficult for Tauson to survive, giving her no room for error.
In a match that lasted a mere 68 minutes, Stearns wrapped up a 6-3, 6-0 win with four breaks of serves coming her way. Such was her dominance that Tauson was never in the contest, getting broken early in the first set and then almost again in the fourth game before Stearns clinched the opening set by serving it out to love.
There was no looking back from there with Stearns dropping a mere three points on her own serve in the second set. She broke Tauson thrice to end the contest.
