Cameron Norrie v Marc Polmans Head to Head
Norrie and Polmans have never faced off in a competitive match before this.

He was ranked 11th on the ATP charts earlier this year but a string of underwhelming performances off Norrie’s racquet has pushed him down to 17th.
To add to that, Norrie is also coming off a couple of surprise results in the Davis Cup that was played last week where he lost both his singles matches. In the first match, he was sent packing by Stan Wawrinka in straight sets before Frenchman Ugo Humbert needed three sets to get past him in the second.
That had followed a string of five losses from his seven previous matches, making it a win-loss record of 2-7 from the last nine.

Polmans Eases Past Sweeny
Taking on fellow Aussie Dane Sweeny in his opener, Polmans did not waste too much in carving out a straight-set win over him and sealing off his second round berth at this competition.
In what was his first main draw match of the season at this level, Polmans was on court for a shade over an hour and a half as he clinched a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Sweeny.
Facing just two break-points in the encounter, Polmans saved them both even as he broke his opponent four times. With a first serve percentage of 77% and a win percentage of 83%, there was no doubting who would come up on top.
Polmans had earlier dropped a mere five games in the two qualifiers as well and all of this should hold him in a good stead coming up against Norrie. While he might be a distant 5/2 to win (at bet365), Polmans will know he has a chance of pushing his opponent.
