Frances Tiafoe v Hubert Hurkacz Head to Head
Hurkacz leads the rivalry 3-2. While Tiafoe had won the first two meetings, Hurkacz has won the last three.

Additionally, Tiafoe also reached his maiden ATP 1000 semifinal in Indian Wells and reached the quarterfinals at the US Open, but is currently on a three-match losing streak, having lost both his Davis Cup matches after going down in the quarterfinal of the final slam.

Hurkacz Has Had an Up-and-Down Season
World no 16 Hubert Hurkacz brings a 32-19 season record into the tournament.
The 26-year-old Polish player is making his debut at the Laver Cup this year. He has been in decent form throughout the season, winning his sixth career title and the only won of the season in Marseille.
He has not reached a lot of semifinals as he would have liked, but has been consistent in the initial rounds.
Most recently, he was a semifinalist in Cincinnati, but got knocked out in the second round of the US Open.
Coming off a win in his Davis Cup match earlier this month, Hurkacz will look to make a wining start in the Laver Cup.
