Doi Shocks Martic
Having made it to the main draw of this competition thanks to the withdrawal of Ashlyn Krueger in the second round qualifying round, Doi took a step forward in the first round with a shock win over Petra Martic.
Doi, once ranked 30th in the world, isn’t even in the top 300 of the rankings right now thanks to a string of underwhelming results over the months.
