Holger Rune v Felix Auger-Aliassime Head to Head

They are 1-1 from their past meetings. Auger-Aliassime won at the Basel final last year, while Rune won at the Paris Masters semifinals.

The 20-year-old Dane, last won a professional match on July 10. That was in the fourth round of Wimbledon. He lost in the quarterfinals to Carlos Alcaraz and since then, he has just not been able to win matches.

He lost both his matches at the Hopman Cup, made first round exits from Toronto, Cincinnati and the US Open and also ost his only match at the Davis Cup.

Ranked no. 4 in the world, Rune featured in three finals this year. While he finished runner-up in the two ATP 1000 finals in Monte-Carlo and Rome, he defended the Munich Open title to win a fourth ATP title.

Auger-Aliassime Has Had a Tough Season

Taking on Rune will be world no. 15 Felix Auger Aliassime, who has had a very tough time this year and a 15-15 tour level record is a proof of that.

Th Canadian, who won over 60 matches last year, reached just one semifinal this year in Doha and had three quarterfinal finishes.

He has never looked comfortable this year and currently, he has won just two matches from last six tournaments.

The two wins came in the first round in Cincinnati and and at the Laver Cup last week.

A four-time tour level champion from 15 matches, Auger Aliassime will be eager to make a string start.
