Can Sinner Carry His Good Form to Beijing?
World no. 7 Jannik Sinner has been in excellent form throughout the year and a 44-13 season record is a testament to that.
The 22-year-old Italian will be making his debut in Beijing with hopes of carrying his fine form into the tournament. An eight-time tour level champion from 11 finals, Sinner has featured in four finals this year.
While the Italian won the titles in Lyon and Toronto (his first ever ATP 1000 title), he finished runner-up in Rotterdam and Miami.
Additionally, Sinner also reached his first ever major semifinal in Wimbledon and also reached the final four stage in Indian Wells and Monte-Carlo.
Sinner is coming off a round of 16 finish at the US Open. Can he get off to a brisk start?

Evans Searching for Consistency
Knocked out in the first round in Chengdu last week, Daniel Evans will be hoping to overcome the setback in Beijing, but faces a tough opening round opponent.
Evans, ranked no. 33rd in the world, is 17-22 at the tour level this season and 19-23 across levels.
The Briton has produced some fine performances, but every good run has been followed by a dull period. Last month he picked up his second ATP title by winning the Washington Open.
He was also in the semifinals in Marrakech and Barcelona and made it to the third rounds in the first and the last majors of the season.
Overall his recent form has been very good as he is 9-4 since the start of the Washington Open last month. Can he pull of a shock win in the opener?
