The Argentine was a quarterfinalist in Zhuhai, and lost in the second round in Beijing. Now he will be making his debut in Shanghai on Saturday.

It’s been a break through season for the 24-year-old, who was ranked 79th in the world at the start of the season.
Etcheverry, however, has struggled on hard courts and a 6-9 season record on the surface reflects that. It will be interesting to see if he can have an effect in Shanghai as he has a tough match first up.
