Lehecka, who reached his first ever ATP final in Winston-Salem in August, won all three of his Davis Cup matches a couple of weeks ago and finished as a quarterfinalist in Astana last week.

Schwartzman Rallies Past Van Assche
World no. 130 Diego Schwartzman rebounded after dropping the first set to beat France’s Luca Van Assche in the first round on Thursday.
Schwartzman faced 18 break points in the match and he saved 13 of them. In contrast, he held 10 break points and capitalised on seven of those chances to win the two hour and 50 minute contest 5-7, 6-3, 6-2.
The win ended a four-match losing streak for the Argentine, who had last won a match in the first qualifying round in Cincinnati. It was also Schwartzman’s first main draw win in a while, He had last won a main draw match in the first round in Wimbledon.
Schwartzman has won consecutive main draw matches only ones this year and that was in Roland Garros, where he reached the third round.
The former world no. 8 improved his season record to 10-22 at the tour level. He is 2-3 in Shanghai, can he improve that record further?
