When & Where will the Hong Kong Open 2024 be Played?

The 2024 edition of the Hong Kong Open will be played at the Victoria Park Tennis Stadium in Hong Kong. The competition kick-starts from January 1, 2024 for it first round matches and will go on till Sunday, January 7 when the final will be played.

The qualifying rounds for this competition will be held Sunday, December 31 and Monday, January 1 before the start of the tournament at the same venue.

What Happened at the Previous ATP Hong Open?

This is the first time that the Hong Kong Open will be played since 2002. Yes, it’s been 21 years since the tournament was last played.

And it was Juan Carlos Ferrero who won that title that year by defeating fellow Spaniard Carlos Moya in a hard-fought final which saw a final set tie-breaker.

Some of the other top players who participated in the tournament that year included Marat Safin, Alex Corretja, Juan Ignacio Chela and Nicolas Lapenti.
