The French Open tickets for the first four days of the tournament have already been sold out but there is still a way to buy them next week onward.
The second Grand Slam of the year, which will be played at Roland-Garros from May 26, opened its ticket sale earlier in March-April and has seen an increasing demand to watch some of the dazzling stars in action.
With Rafael Nadal showing signs of being a mortal on clay after his semi-final defeats at the Monte-Carlo Masters and Barcelona Open, all eyes will be on him. Also in demand would be the tickets for the challengers to the French Open throne, players that include Novak Djokovic and Dominic Thiem among others.
And with the arena undergoing renovation to include the new “greenhouse” court, Simonne-Mathieu, and a refurbishment of the Court Philippe-Chatrier to bring in a retractable roof by the 2020 edition, things look to be really hotting up.
Tickets for the French Open can now be bought for all the days barring the first four which, as mentioned above, are sold out. However, even for the remaining days, the ground passes and Simonne-Mathieu French Open tickets are gone and the rest of them are already looking very expensive. What would interest French Open fans is that the organisers will be opening their online “last-minute ticket sale” window from May 7 (10 am local time) and all the information on how to buy those tickets can be found here.
These last-minute tickets will be on a first-come-first-serve basis and once a customer has logged in to the site, he/she will be queued up online by their ticketing system. Once customers are into the ticketing portal, they will have a finite time to choose and book the ticket of their choice from those remaining.
