Daniil Medvedev v Jeremy Chardy Head to Head
This will be the third time that Daniil Medvedev and Jeremy Chardy will be facing off at this level and the head to head is currently reading 1-1. The first time they played on grass, Chardy won that match last year at Queen’s Club but Medvedev got the better of his opponent at Rotterdam earlier this year on indoor courts.

It’s safe to say that Jeremy Chardy’s best is probably behind him, one that had seen him rise to 25th in the world. Since then there have been a few seasons in which he has lost more than he has won but over the last three years, including this one, he has managed to reverse that.
A 33-27 win-loss record here consists of seven wins out of 11 matches on indoor courts, and he has got to the main draw here with a couple of victories in the qualifiers. In the first round, Chardy needed three sets to edge out Sam Querrey 5-7, 6-3, 7-5 in a humdinger of a match but it’s tough to see how he will get going here against a player in rip-roaring form.
