Alex De Minaur v Frances Tiafoe Predictions & Preview
Alex De Minaur and Frances Tiafoe meet in the first semi-finals of the Next Gen ATP Finals in Milan. The players have met once, at the 2018 US Open where the Aussie was victorious in four sets.
Aussie Alex de Minaur continued his strong season winning all his group matches against Miomir Kecmanovic, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and Casper Ruud in straight sets and therefore qualifying for the semi-finals of the tournament yet again. Having won titles this year at Sydney, Atlanta and Zhuhai and being runner-up to Roger Federer at Basel, the young Aussie continues to look like the clear favorite to end the year with the title here in Milan.
Apart from a quarterfinal showing at the Australian Open, 2019 has seen disappointing early losses for the American. Tiafoe was hoping for a good run this week in Milan, setting himself up for a stronger 2020; but a four set loss against Jannik Sinner set him on the backfoot early on. However, the young American has come back strong to defeat Frenchman Ugo Humbert and Mikael Ymer, gaining the much necessary confidence ahead of the final four here in Milan.
An exciting match ahead of us where we can expect both players to give it their best and Aussie De Minaur can expect to be challenged more than he has thus far in the tournament. Although Tiafoe has what it takes to pull off a win here, the Aussie is playing very well with immense confidence and can be expected to pull off a win in four sets.
Tip: De Minaur to win in four sets: [4/9 with Unibet]

Jannik Sinner v Miomir Kecmanovic Predictions & Preview
Jannik Sinner and Miomir Kecmanovic meet for the first time, in the semi-finals of the ATP Next Gen Finals in Milan.
18-year-old Sinner began the year ranked outside the top 500 in the ATP rankings. Having had a successful run on the ATP Challenger Circuit, the Italian made the semi-finals of the ATP 250 at Antwerp and has moved to within the top 100 in the world after his first full year on the tour. The Italian continued his strong run of form this week winning his first two matches and despite a loss against Frenchman Ugo Humbert, the home boy had already qualified for the semi-finals. With the Milan crowd rooting for the young Italian, Sinner will be hoping to play for the title this weekend.
Serbia’s Miomir Kecmanovic won his first ever ATP match this season and did well to be a finalist on the grass courts of Antalya and a semi-finalist at Indian Wells, as well as defeat the likes of Alexander Zverev at the Cincinnati Masters. Despite a four set loss to the in-form De Minaur, Kecmanovic was convincing in his straight sets win against Ruud and Fokina, and has done well to qualify for the semi-finals here.
As Kecmanovic has himself agreed, it will be difficult to play Sinner at home with the Milan crowd being factored in. Expect Kecmanovic to continue his good form, but Sinner has looked sharp and with the familiar conditions, should make the finals in a four-setter.
Tip: Sinner to win in four sets: [ 3/5 with Unibet]
