Kevin Anderson v Gael Monfils Predictions & Preview
Kevin Anderson and Gael Monfils meet each other for the seventh time in their career, with Monfils having a 5-1 superior head-to-head record. Anderson was victorious in their last meeting on the Wimbledon grass in 2018, but has lost the previous five to Monfils on clay and had courts.
This is a crucial tie between France and South Africa in group A. While both teams have been successful in defeating Chile, both lost to Serbia in their other Group A matches respectively.
Monfils and Anderson faced defeat at the hands of Novak Djokovic, with the South African pushing the Serb to two tie-breaks.
2019 was a strong comeback year for Frenchman Monfils who returned to the top ten in the ATP world rankings and will be looking for a strong start to a more consistent 2020.
After a stellar 2018, it was an injury prone 2019 for Anderson, but if his form in the first two matches here is anything to go by, he looks match fit and ready for the season.
Expect an exciting clash on the cards, with Anderson’s strong form helping him on the faster courts in clinching a three-set win.
Tip: Anderson in three sets: 13/4 (Click here to get these odds with Unibet)

Marin Cilic v Guido Pella Predictions & Preview
Guido Pella brings a 2-1 head-to-head against Marin Cilic, as Argentina plays Croatia in their last respective group matches at the ATP Cup.
This remains an important tie for both teams as although Croatia is up 2-0, Austria and Argentina have a 1-1 record and so both Croatia and Argentina will be looking for a win.
Cilic is coming off one of his poorest seasons, that saw him dropping to number 39 in the world after being a regular top ten player throughout the decade. On the other hand, Pella had one of his strongest seasons ending the year at number 25 with a consistent performances throughout the season.
In the first two matches at the ATP Cup, both have exhibited erratic form, with Cilic winning both his matches in a tight manner and Pella losing one of his two matches, against Denis Novak of Austria after winning the first set 6-0.
Expect another close contest between these two players on the hard courts. Having gained confidence from his two wins here, Cilic will be favored to edge ahead in a close three-setter.
Tip: Cilic to win in three sets: 14/5 (Click here to get these odds with Unibet)

Nikoloz Basilashvili v Pablo Cuevas Predictions & Preview
In a tie of purely academic interest, Georgia plays Uruguay in their last respective Group B matches.
Both teams have been defeated by Spain and Japan and thus in effect, are eliminated from qualification for the final eight.
However, with the season getting started, Nikoloz Basilashvili and Pablo Cuevas will be looking to treat this as useful match practice as they continue to get accustomed to the conditions Down Under.
Basilasvhili and Cuevas have lost both their individual singles matches thus far at the ATP Cup and while the veteran Cuevas is a clay court specialist, the Georgian Basilasvhili has until recently performed well on the harder surfaces and will be disappointed with his performance.
The players have met twice and split the head-to-head, with Cuevas winning on the hard courts of the 2016 Rio Olympics and Basilashvili prevailing in the 2018 Hamburg Open.
Expect both players to give it their best to wrap up their ATP Cup with a win; Basilashvili to prevail in two hard-fought sets the most likely outcome.
Tip: Basilashvili in straight sets: 10/11 (Click here to get these odds with Unibet)
Roberto Bautista Agut v Go Soeda Predictions & Preview
The unbeaten teams of Group B, Spain and Japan meet in the last tie of their group stages. Roberto Bautista Agut plays Go Soeda, with both players having won their previous two group matches.
With the number two seed players of both Georgia and Uruguay not having provided much of a challenge to Soeda, this will be his first major challenge, as he is up against Spanish veteran Agut.
After a career best 2019 season, Agut will be looking to ride home the advantage as he prepares for another strong season on the tour. Having faced his share of personal tragedies in late 2019, Agut seems to have recovered well as he looked in control in his previous matches.
Soeda is an exciting prospect and expect him to provide the best challenge he can to Agut, but the Spaniard should comfortably prevail in straight sets.
Tip: Agut to win in straight sets: 3/10 (Click here to get these odds with Unibet)
