Day one of the Madrid Open Virtual Pro will be held on Monday, April 27 and will see a string of group games held in both, the men’s and women’s section of the draw.
The first day of the eSports of tennis at Madrid will see some potentially exciting matches (however, how these tennis players go about their business on the gaming console of PS4 is anybody’s guess!).

Starting the day’s play will be Spain’s much-loved David Ferrer who will take on Argentina’s Diego Schwartzman at 3 pm local time (it’s GMT +2 hours). Action will then move to the women’s draw from there and another Spaniard, Carla Suarez Navarro will play Belinda Bencic in their opener.
Play will alternate between men’s and women’s action with Rafael Nadal kick-starting his campaign with a match against Denis Shapovalov, and Karolina Pliskova playing Fiona Ferro.
There are a couple of celebrity charity matches planned too in which Nadal and Frances Tiafoe will be playing some of the top players from the gaming world.
