Lesia Tsurenko v Ana Bogdan Head to Head
This will be the second time these two will play competitively, with Tsurenko having beaten Bogdan in their only previous outing which came in an ITF tournament in Istanbul in 2011.

Tsurenko Looking to Return to Top 100
A former world number 23, Tsurenko has fallen to 139th in the world having won the last of her four WTA titles in Acapulco in 2018. A hard-court specialist, with all those four tournament wins having come on that surface, Tsurenko is showing signs of a clay court resurrection.
Featuring at the UTF Ladies Invitational on clay, Tsurenko won three of her four matches on clay before qualifying for this competition in Prague through three qualifying victories.
In the first round, pitted against the world number 27 Ekaterina Alexandrova, Tsurenko carried her form forward to register a crushing win over her. She won 6-2, 6-4 to move into the second round where she will take on Bogdan, ranked 92nd in the world.

Bogdan Breezes into Maiden Second Round This Year
Bogdan had last played in Lyon just prior to the tennis suspension and was dumped out in the first round. That, incidentally, was her joint-best showing this season before this tournament.
Yes, Bogdan had made the main draw in only two tournaments and lost both the opening round matches this year. Now, for the first time she is in the second round, having registered a 6-1, 6-1 rout of Storm Sanders.
While Storm is ranked outside the top 200, the fact Bogdan took absolutely no time in waltzing past her should give her the confidence going up against an in-form Tsurenko.
Lesia Tsurenko v Ana Bogdan Prediction & Tip
Tsurenko’s good form makes her the favourite in this one but this could go into a third set.
Tip: Tsurenko to win in three sets: 10/3 (bet365)
