Alexander Zverev v Jannik Sinner Head to Head
This will be Zverev’s chance to avenge the result of their only previous match – Sinner won their French Open fourth round encounter earlier this year thanks to a Zverev illness. The German was apparently so ill during the match, he later admitted he shouldn’t have played that encounter.

Zverev Stumbles & Recovers against Mannarino
It’s been a slow kind of a start for Zverev in this tournament, having had a set taken off him on both occasions of having played a match this tournament.
The Cologne winner from last week, Zverev was first stretched to three sets by Aussie John Millman as he lost the second set and followed it up with a three-setter against Adrian Mannarino.
It had always looked to be a cagey contest between Zverev and Mannarino, as they exchanged an early pair of serve breaks before taking it to the ninth game on serve. Zverev then helped himself to a couple of break-points, which helped him win the set and take a one set lead.
There were multiple break-points squandered in the second set by both players, but in the eighth game when Zverev won three break-points and converted the first, the writing seemed to be on the wall. That’s when Mannarino broke back, pushed the set into a tie-breaker.
And when Mannarino won a scrappy tie-breaker to force the match into the third set, the interest levels had suddenly increased the following and intensity of the contest. That, however, was about the kind of fight Mannarino could offer as Zverev completed a three-set win with one beak of service that came in the seventh game of the final set.
Is revenge on the cards for Zverev?

Sinner Bagelled But Unbeaten
The Italian teenager Sinner has played seven sets in the competition so far and not lost more than four games in six of those seven. In the seventh set, the one which came in his quarterfinal against the Frenchman Gilles Simon, Sinner was stunningly bagelled.
That it came in the second set of his quarterfinal match against Simon meant he had to get back all of his lost rhythm, but even that didn’t happen immediately.
Here’s how things transpired. Sinner looked to be headed towards another straight-set win, having won the previous matches in the tournament that way, but in the second set he dropped his serve three times in a row. And come the third, a stunned Sinner was broken yet again early on to fall behind 2-0.
It took a concerted effort from Sinner to first break back to level off at 2-2, and then go a break up in the seventh game to take a 4-3 lead in the set. Simon’s fight for the night wasn’t done though as he helped himself to three break-points but Sinner turned it easily in his favour to set things up nicely
Zverev v Sinner Prediction and Tip
This will be a tough call but with Zverev showing the kind of form, and being physically fit this time, he will be a heavy favourite to win this.
Tip: Zverev to win: 1/3 (bet365)
