Yoshihito Nishioka v Adrian Mannarino Head to Head
The pair have never met before. This will be the first match between the 25-year old man from Japan, and the Frenchman, who is seven years older.

Nishioka Looking for a Form Turnaround
Nishioka has not enjoyed the best of form recently, and the only time he has reached the third round of any event in the past few months came in the second tournament in Cologne.
There he had good wins over both Kyle Edmund, and then Jan-Lennard Struff, before losing to the Canadian Felix Auger Aliassime – the man incidentally that Nishioka had beaten in the first-round of the French Open.
Given his scratchy run, he will be encouraged by his come from behind win against the Spaniard Pablo Andujar in the first-round in Paris on Tuesday.
The Japanese had his chances in the first set but failed to take them and paid the price when he dropped his own serve to hand the edge to his opponent.
The pair swapped serve breaks early in the second set, and the pendulum swung in favour of Nishioka when Adujar dropped his serve once more, enabling the man from Japan to level the match.
And he pressed home his advantage by breaking again at the start of the third set. Andujar’s form began to desert him, he dropped his serve once more, and Nishioka was relatively untroubled for the rest of the match.

Mannarino, a Beaten Finalist in Kazakhstan
Mannarino reached his first final of the year at the Astana Open in Kazakhstan last weekend, and, although he was beaten by the Australian John Millman, that run gave him confidence after a recent run where the other highlight was his third-round appearance in the second Cologne Open.
And back home in France again, some of that confidence and self-belief was evident in his first-round defeat of Dusan Lajovic of Serbia
The first set was tight and neither man gave an inch heading into the tie-break. The pair then swapped service breaks but, when Lajovic dropped his once more, Mannarino took full advantage and served -out for the set.
Lajovic struggled to hold on to his first service game of the second set, saving two break points, but he was delaying the inevitable and four games later surrendered his serve to the Frenchman.
And then in the ninth game Mannarino forced another break point and converted it to seal the win.
Nishioka v Mannarino Prediction and Tip
This is a tough match to predict with little to choose between the two men. However, the fact that it is being played in Paris gives Mannarino home field advantage, at least in theory, and that may just tip the balance in his favour.
Tip: Mannarino to win: 4/5 (bet365)
