Miomir Kecmanović v Stefano Travaglia Head to Head
The two have never faced each other in a competitive match before. This will be the first-ever encounter between them.

Kecmanović Looking To Build On Maiden 2020 Title
Kecmanović had a good year in his steady rise.
He won his maiden ATP title, the Austrian Open Kitzbühel, and reached the semi-finals of the New York and ATP Qatar Open. He also reached a career-high ranking of 39th in the ATP rankings.
Not so bad for a 21-year-old in his third pro year.
However, after winning his first title, he went on a bad run of form towards the end of the season. He lost six of his last nine matches post-Kitzbühel, resulting in three immediate eliminations and four second-round ousters.
A break, therefore, might have been good for the youngster to recuperate and come back stronger.
For an all-rounded player who performs equally well on both clay and hard courts, he should now be energized and roaring to go against a shaky Travaglia. At 2/5, Kecmanović is heavily favored by the bookies in this match, and rightfully so.

Travaglia’s Career-High As Well
Though he may come into the match priced at 7/4, Travaglia’s 2020 season saw him achieve a career-high ATP singles ranking of 70th place, which is five positions below his current 75th-place ranking.
This career-high ranking came in September after he reached the semi-final of the Challenger event in Prostejov, which was then followed by third-round berths in both the Italian and French Open.
After that, however, he was eliminated in the first round of the Sardinia and Astana Open, as well as the Paris Masters. An unfortunate elbow injury made him have to withdraw from the Sofia Open, ending his season prematurely.
For a player whose main success has primarily been on clay courts, he’ll surely have a hard time beginning his season on one of his unfavored surfaces, something that Kecmanović will definitely exploit.
Kecmanović v Travaglia Prediction and Tip
Kecmanovic is the undoubted favorite in this one. At close to 1/2, he should be a great choice and may even have some added value to achieve this win in straight sets. Since it’s the start of the season, however, uncertainties are always bound and I wouldn’t be surprised if Travaglia managed to scrape a set from the Serb.
Still, I expect Kecmanović to come roaring into this match and dominate proceedings from early on and probably take the first set against the Italian.
Tip: Kecmanović to win the first set: 4/9 (bet365)
