The player have never played each other and this will be their first meeting on the tour.

Goffin In Prime Form After Shaky Start
Ranked as high as number seven in 2017, it has been an up and down road for David Goffin since. While injuries and poor form were deterrents, Goffin did well to return to form in 2019 and move back into the top 20 in the ATP rankings.
While 2020 was a mixed season for the Belgian, the current season did not get off to the best of starts here at the Antalya Open, with Goffin saving five match points in his opener to doubles partner Pierre-Hugues Herbert before prevailing in three sets.
The number two seed looked in prime form against Spaniard Nicola Kuhn in the second round dropping only two games, setting himself up well for a good run here heading into the final stages of the tournament. High on confidence now, he will fancy a title run here on but first up he will take on a player who has been in form too.

Tough Task Ahead For Travaglia
Italian Stefano Travaglia has been on the tour for a few years, but been unable to meet the success he had on the Challenger Tour. 2020 witnessed Travaglia have a good run on clay and reach an all-time career high ranking of 70.
More comfortably on the slower surfaces, Travaglia has been challenged here this week by the Next Gen players of the likes of Mimor Kecmanovic and Emil Ruusuvuori, but pulled through to make the final eight.
As the challenges get more stiff, the Italian knows he will have to dig deep here on and start strong against the likes of Goffin to prevent himself playing catch-up with the going being uphill.
As a clay-court specialist it might be too much to expect Travaglia to get past Goffin despite the latter’s drop in form.
Goffin v Travaglia Prediction and Tip
Although Goffin was pushed in the opener and looked out of sorts a little, he was invincible in the previous round and will start as a strong favorite. Travaglia has the ability to trouble the Belgian, but will be too much to expect him to prevail.
Tip: Goffin to win in straight sets: 4/5 (bet365)
