Alex de Minaur v Alexander Bublik Head to Head
This will be the first time ever that de Minaur and Bublik will face off in a match at the highest level.

De Minaur Disposes off Goffin
The Aussie de Minaur is ranked behind David Goffin but the difference in the more recent form for the two meant it was the former who started off his semifinal as a favourite. And it turned out to be how the match went, although de Minaur did need three sets to get past his second seeded opponent.
In a semifinal lasting an hour and 51 minutes, De Minaur won a tight affair, 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 to reach the final.
The first two sets of the encounter were decided by one break of serve apiece. De Minaur got the early break in the opening set, taking a 2-0 lead and maintaining that advantage throughout the set.
In the second, Goffin gave his Aussie opponent a taste of his own medicine by breaking early and going 2-0 up and with no further breaks in the set, the Belgian completed the equaliser.
The third saw some parity to begin with, and once the pair had exchanged breaks of serves in the fourth and fifth game, de Minaur gained control. He broke in the sixth game and then again in the eighth to complete the win.
De Minaur had earlier not dropped a single set all tournament, including a 6-2, 6-4 win over Nikoloz Basilashvili in the quarterfinal.

Bublik Moves up to Career-Best
The 23-year-old Bublik has made it to his third ATP final and will hope it’s third time lucky for him after the previous two had ended in losses – the first to John Isner at the Hall of Fame Open and then to Pablo Carreno Busta on the hard courts of Chengdu.
This time around he is up against another of the tough contenders on the circuit making his task as difficult as it would have been earlier. Obviously this time around, he has some more experience and is playing some of the best tennis of his career.
Not to mention, irrespective of the result, Bublik would end up on his career-best ranking at the end of this tournament even if he doesn’t win this match.
That said, Bublik would want to turn his fortunes around as he looks to continue his solid streak which has already seen him defeat Matteo Berrettini and Jeremy Chardy in his previous two encounters here to make the final.
He faces a player who is a hard-court specialist with three titles on the surface already.
De Minaur v Bublik Prediction and Tip
De Minaur is a whopping 2/9 to win this but that also means there is a lot of value in the 10/3 for a Bublik victory. Expecting it to be a hard-fought match which de Minaur wins in the end.
Tip: Over 19.5 games in the match: 8/15 ( Unibet )
