Filip Krajinovic v Pablo Andujar Head to Head
The pair have never met before. This will be the first meeting between the 28 year-old Serb, and the Spaniard who is 7 years older.
Krajinovic, Overcame Challenge of Lucky Loser
Two years ago, Krajinovic reached the third round her, his equal best performance in a Grand Slam event, and he is on track to emulate that achievement, although his first-round match with the lucky loser Robin Haase of the Netherlands was not without its challenges.
The first set saw both men struggled with the conditions and although Krajinovic broke, he then surrendered it back again, resulting in a tie-break. In it, the first four points went against serve, but then Krajinovic forced another break and was able to take the set.
In the second set there was only break point against serve, which Krajinovic ruthlessly converted to extend his lead.
However, Haase was by no means finished, and forced the only break in the third set to halve the deficit.
Dutch resistance though began to crumble in the fourth set and the Haase serve came under pressure. Krajinovic was able to break twice more and eventually won comfortably.

Spaniard Given Kind First Round Draw
Andujar is used to exiting the Australian Open in the first round – the only other time he has been in the second round in Melbourne was back in 2012.
This time though the fates were kind to him and gave him an easy first round match against the French qualifier, Quentin Halys, the world 202.
The first set was full of errors from both men, and neither was convincing on serve, surrendering two breaks each. However, the Spaniard broke again in the ninth game and went on to close out the set.
Serve dominated for much of the second set, and neither man faced a break point until once more Halys faltered and the Spaniard took full advantage to break. A few minutes later he led by two sets to love.
The third set was almost an exact replica of the second, with the qualifier eventually cracking under the pressure. Andujar-Alba broke once more, and that was enough for him to wrap things up in 2 hours and 16 minutes.
Krajinovic v Andujar Prediction and Tip
Krajinovic will start the clear favourite against a man who is much more at home on a slow clay court than a hard, fast surface like Melbourne.
Tip: Krajinovic to win in three sets: 5/6 (bet365)
