Ann Li v Viktorija Golubic Head to Head
This will be the first meeting between the World No. 72 Lee and the 102nd ranked Golubic.

Ann Li’s terrific season continued to get better as she knocked out eighth seed Zheng Saisai of China in a quarterfinal on Friday.
Saving eight of 10 break points and converting five of seven, the American ousted the Chinese 7-5, 6-1 in an hour and 48 minutes.
The win improved the 20-year-old right-hander to 9-1 this year.
Having begun the season by reaching the final of the Grampians Trophy (the final against Annett Kontaveit eventually got cancelled due to delays in schedule), Li went on to enter the third round of the Australian Open for the first time in her career.
At the Monterrey Open, the Pennsylvania-born Lee defeated the Netherlands’ Arantxa Rus 6-3, 7-5 in the first round and Slovenia’s Tamara Zidansek 6-4, 6-3 in the Round of 16.
Li, who was the runner-up at the 2017 Wimbledon Junior Championships, reached the third round of a major for the first time last year, when she won her first two rounds at the U.S. Open.

Golubic Makes Another Deep Run As Qaulifier
In the Saturday’s semifinal, Lee will face Swiss qualifier Viktorija Golubic, who defeated Russia’s Anna Kalinskaya 6-2, 6-4 in the quarterfinals on Friday.
The World No. 102, who reached the final at Lyon earlier this month has carried her terrific form to Monterrey, reaching the final four without dropping a set.
Having beaten Mexico’s Anna Sofia Sanchez 6-0, 6-1 in the first qualifying round, Golubic went on to beat compatriot Leonie Kung in the next round to qualify for the main draw, where she continued to dominate her rivals.
The 28-year-old Swiss knocked out sixth seed Anna Blinkova 6-4, 6-4 in the first round and then ousted America’s Lauren Davis 6-3, 6-1 in the Round of 16.
Golubic, who reached a career-high ranking of 51 in 2017, had reached two finals in 2016, winning in Gstaad and finishing runner-up in Linz. Five years later, she finally made it to her third career final, reaching the title clash in Lyon this year.
Playing as a qualifier, Golubic upset third seed Caroline Garcia and second seed Fiona Ferro en route to the final, where she fell to Denmark’s Clara Tauson.
Golubic has also featured in three ITF events this year, winning the title in France, finishing runner-up in the UAE and reaching the semifinal in Germany.
Li v Golubic Prediction and Tip
While Li is seeded and also the higher-ranked player, she will be a slight favourite, but both players are in exceptional form, so expect this to be a very tight contest.
