Two of the men’s quarterfinals and the remaining two women’s quarterfinals at the 2021 Miami Open will be played on Wednesday, March 31 with Daniil Medvedev and Naomi Osaka taking to court on the day. Get our experts’ best tennis betting tips for today’s matches at the Miami Open below.

Naomi Osaka v Maria Sakkari

It’s a rivalry that has had four previous iterations and Osaka has won three of them, while Sakkari’s sole win came at the Cincinnati Open of 2018. Their latest meeting was in 2020 in Brisbane, where again, Osaka had to scrape through to a win.

Osaka made a slow start to the tournament against Ajla Tomljanovic, who pushed her into a tie-breaker in the first set but since then things have gotten a lot easier for the world number two. She easily won the second set, got a walkover from Nina Stojanovic in the third round and then routed the in-form Elise Mertens in straight sets in the fourth.

Where she could face bit of a challenge is Sakkari’s doughty nature – which helped her edge past Jessica Pegula – could lead to Osaka needing to find back-up plans during the encounter and that’s where we think the match could stretched.

May be to a third set but even more probably to over 19.5 games.

Osaka v Sakkari Betting Tip

Over 19.5 games in the match: 8/11* (Sign up here with bet365 for these and other awesome odds)

Bianca Andreescu v Sara Sorribes Tormo

Bookmakers are massively favouring Andreescu with the Canadian number one starting out at 4/11 against a player who is ranked outside the top 50 – at least till the next rankings released.

Sara Sorribes Tormo is in the form of her life though, has won her maiden title recently, then made the semifinal of the next tournament and now here she is in the biggest match of her life. Nerves could be a factor but with wins over Jennifer Brady, Elena Rybakina and Ons Jabeur, the Spaniard should hardly be bothered.

Which is also why odds of 11/5 for her victory look tempting. Tempering the risk down a little, we think Sorribes Tormo could at least snatch one set here which is also at 5/6 with bet365.

Andreescu v Sorribes Tormo Betting Tip

Sorribes Tormo to win a set – Yes: 5/6* (Sign up here with bet365 for these and other awesome odds)

Jannik Sinner v Alexander Bublik

This is a battle between the Next-Gen of tennis and Jannik Sinner is tipped to win this easily. He starts off at 2/5 to cream Bublik and make it to his first ever semifinal at a Masters tournament – his previous best was a third round appearance at the Italian Open in 2020.

Make no mistake though, Bublik would be no pushover. Their only previous outing had come as recently as the ATP Dubai, the last tournament both these players featured in earlier this month, and that went to a third set with Sinner needing to overcome a set deficit and then win a tie-breaker in the second to come through.

So while we think Sinner starts off a favourite given his supremely talented tennis, better ranking and the edge from the previous win, Bublik has the tenacity and the game to usurp his opponent. A three-set win for Sinner looks like a good option but we are happy to go with the less risky Sinner victory.

Sinner v Bublik Betting Tip

Sinner to win: 2/5* (Sign up here with bet365 for these and other awesome odds)
