Astra Sharma v Madison Brengle Head to Head
The pair have never met before. This will be the first match between the 25-year Australian, and the American, who is six years older.

Sharma had the good fortune to be drawn against Yafan Wang of China on Tuesday, a woman ranked 45 places higher than her in the world, but in terrible form, having won just one match in over a year prior to their meeting.
And Sharma made sure that run continued with what was ultimately a comfortable win.
The first set saw Wang struggle on serve from the start and, although she held her first service game, she dropped her second. She had numerous chances to break back, could not take them, and Sharma also squandered several chances to extend her lead but could not take them, although she held on to take the set.
The pair swapped service breaks at the start of the second set, and then Wang had two opportunities to break Sharma again. She failed to convert them and paid a heavy price as she was broken herself next game.
From there the die was cast. Wang gave up her serve again meekly, and Sharma served out for the match.

Brengle Struggled to Overcome Russian
In reaching the second round, Brengle has already done better than she did in the first iteration of this event last week, when she was beaten by compatriot Lauren Davis in the first round.
But her victory over Natalia Vikhlyantseva oof Russia, the world 149, was not without its difficulties on Monday.
Things started well for the American and she breezed through the first set in 22 minutes, without dropping a game.
And when she broke the Russian again mid-way through the second set, it looked like she was on course for an easy victory. But the Russian broke back straight away, and then broke again in the next Brengle service game, serving out for the set.
Brengle reasserted control by breaking twice in the early part of the third set, but, although she then surrendered one of those breaks, she always had the edge over her opponent.
And she underlined that, when, with the Russian serving to stay in the match, she broke once more to end her resistance.
Sharma v Brengle Prediction and Tip
Although they had different ways of reaching the second round, Brengle should just have the edge in this match. She is the higher ranked, and was once a top 40 player. That extra experience should make the difference.
