Laslo Djere v Juan Ignacio Londero Head to Head
The pair have met twice before, both matches coming last year on clay. Djere won their quarter-final in Cordoba, but almost immediately Londero got his revenge in Buenos Aires. Both matches went to the three sets.

Djere, A Beaten Finalist in Sardinia
Djere, having lost his first three matches of 2021 on hard courts, has seen his results improve since he switched to his favourite surface of clay.
He reached the third round in Buenos Aires, and the second in Santiago.
Reverting back to hard courts, he made it to the second round in Acapulco and Miami, before it was back to clay again in Sardinia, where he reached his third ATP senior final, losing to the Italian Lorenzo Sonego in three sets, despite taking the first set easily.
However, he suffered a setback in Monte Carlo last week, beaten by the Russian Karen Khachanov in the first round, a result that was on expected lines.
The first set was keenly contested and Djere lost it with due to the odd break of serve from three. However, in the second set, he dropped his serve twice more and rather meekly bowed out of the tournament.

Londero in the Middle of a Prolonged Form Slump
Londero is in the middle of a prolonged slump in form. Since reaching the second round of the French Open last September, he has played in six events, and been knocked out in the first round of all of them.
He failed to even qualify for Monte Carlo, knocked out in the second round of qualifying by the German Dominik Koepfer.
However, he got his chance to compete in the main draw after all as a lucky loser after the world number two Daniil Medvedev was diagnosed with Covid-19.
That though did not signal a change of fortune for him as he was beaten by another Serb Filip Krajinovic.
The world 57 cruised through the first set in 25 minutes without dropping a game. Londero put up more resistance in the second, but ultimately dropped his serve once too many times and the Serb served out.
Djere v Londero Prediction and Tip
Djere, playing on home soil, will start a heavy favourite against a man who is in the middle of a prolonged slump in form right now.
Tip: Djere to win in three sets: 3/1 (bet365)
