Kaia Kanepi v Zarina Diyas Head to Head
The head-to-head between Kanepi and Diyas is tied at 2-all. While, Kanepi accomplished a 6-1, 6-0 win over the Kazakh in 2010, Diyas beat the Estonian on the clay courts of Stuttgart in 2018.

Diyas Struggling to Find Momentum
Kanepi’s challenger in Round of the Istanbul Open is Kazakhstan’s Zarina Diyas, who has accomplished a not so impressive 6-5 win/loss record for the season.
Diyas, though has tried to put her best foot forward to change her fortunes, but has failed in her efforts, because more often than not, her rivals have got the weapons to expose her game.
World No. 90 Diyas have lost to the likes of former French Open and Wimbledon champion Garbine Muguruza and Swiss prodigy Belinda Bencic in Melbourne and Miami respectively. Moreover, she has only won a single match on clay, last week in Charleston.
