Medvedev is the world number two but if one considers his performance on clay and at French Open alone, he wouldn’t have been seeded. Which is why despite being that highly ranked he starts off at 2/5 to win this and we believe the two reasons to back him here are 1. his desperation to win a match at Roland-Garros and 2. his opponent Bublik’s poor form.

In what will be a repeat of previous year’s French Open third round match Korda takes on clay court specialist Pedro Martinez. Korda wasn’t having the best of clay court seasons but a title win in Parma just before this competition should give him enough confidence to take down Martinez. And at 4/11, he is worth the bet.

While clay isn’t quite Andreescu’s favourite surface, she has looked like a player who can hold her own, especially while taking on lower-ranked opponents. Backing her to get past a challenging opponent in the form of Tamara Zidansek with odds of 1/2 doing justice to that win.
