Jurij Rodionov v Philipp Kohlschreiber Head to Head
The pair have never met before. This will be the first meeting between the 22-year old Austrian, and his German opponent, who is 15 years older.

Rodionov Coming off Stuttgart Semifinal
Austrian Rodionov has been granted special entry into Halle after his exploits last week in Stuttgart, where he was a semi-finalist, claiming a big win along the way over the world 22, beating the Australian in three sets.
Unfortunately, for Rodionov, he was then forced to retire from his semi-final with Marin Cilic, although the Croat was a set and a break to the good at the time.
That was unexpected from though from a man who spends the vast majority of his time ion the Challenger tour and had not qualified for an ATP main draw this year before.
That Stuttgart win is likely to lift him to a career high ranking, and he will be hoping that it earns him more regular invitations to participate in events like Halle.

Kohlschreiber Won Halle in 2011
Now getting to the veteran stage of his career, Kohlschreiber does not play as often – or as well – as he once did, and most of the events he enters are on German soil.
An exception to that was the French Open where he reached the third round, pulling off a big surprise by beating Aslan Karatsev in the process, before eventually losing to Diego Schwartzman in straight sets.
He won the title at Halle back in 2011, beating compatriot Philipp Petzschner on that occasion, and five years ago, lost in the final of Stuttgart on grass, beaten by Dominic Thiem.
He has also been a quarter-finalist at Wimbledon, his best ever showing at a Grand Slam.
Rodionov v Kohlschreiber Prediction and Tip
This is a match of contrasts between the German veteran who has seen almost everything and the Austrian who is still green at this level. Rodionov has youth on his side, but Kohlschreiber has experience, and knowledge of the conditions in Halle, having won the tournament before. That should give him the edge.
