Ugo Humbert v Miomir Kecmanovic Head to Head
There have been four previous meetings between these players and Kecmanovic leads Humbert 3-1 on head to head. All of their meetings came between 2019 and 2020, with Kecmanovic also winning one on the grass courts of Antalya Open.

Humbert looked to have garnered a lot of confidence from his quarterfinal appearance at the Stuttgart Open last week. Because this week, not only has he surpassed that performance by winning the Halle Open title but also done that with some excellent wins.
After a three-set victory against Sam Querrey where he came back from a set down, Humbert pushed Alexander Zverev out before marching into the semifinal with a third successive three-set win of the tournament – beating Sebastian Korda.
Later in the final, Humbert shocked Andrey Rublev to lift the trophy.
More vitally, it follows a decent performance from Humbert in his first full season on grass which had come in 2019 where he had reached the fourth round at Wimbledon and semifinal in Newport.

Kecmanovic Looking to Build on What He Started in 2019
Some of Kecmanovic’s career-best performances have come on clay but playing in his first full season on grass in 2019, the Serb showed he is no mug on that surface either.
In fact, it was on grass that Kecmanovic made it to his first ever final of an ATP competition that season, going all the way in Antalya in 2019. And while he lost to Lorenzo Sonego in that final, Kecmanovic seemed to have found his mojo on that surface.
A second round defeat at Wimbledon followed soon after and Kecmanovic hasn’t played any more matches on grass after that.
Opting to take a break following a second round ouster at French Open earlier this season, he will now return to feature in this one tournament before Wimbledon and that makes this an important match for him.

Kecmanovic will hope for an exhausted Humbert to take to court for this one because otherwise we see now way that the Frenchman can lose this. Backing him to win but unsure of whether it would be a straightforward victory.
