Jordan Thompson v Pablo Andujar-Alba Head to Head
The pair have met once before, and that was earlier this year on clay in Geneva, Andujar winning easily in straight sets.

Thompson, Runner-Up in Rosmalen Two Years Ago
Unlike his opponent on Monday, Thompson does have some form on grass, having got to the finals of the tournament in Rosmalen in the Netherlands two years ago, before eventually losing out to the Frenchman Adrian Mannarino.
However, he has yet to be able to carry that form into Wimbledon – his four previous visits have all resulted in first-round defeats.
Since suffering a first-round defeat at the French Open at the hands of another Frenchman Jaume Munar, Thompson has taken part in two grass court events, both in German soil.
At Stuttgart he got to the second round before losing to compatriot Alex de Minaur, but not before making the world number 22 come from behind to win in a tight battle.
And again, in Halle last week, he made it through to the second round before losing to Andriy Rublev, the world number 7, in straight sets.

Andujar Hoping to Change Things Around on Grass
Like most Spanish players Andujar-Alba was not brought on grass – this Championship is the first time that a major tournament has ever been played on the surface in the country.
And that lack of familiarity is reflected in his Wimbledon record; on his seven previous visits, the only time he has gone beyond the first round was in 2015, when he got to the third round at the All=England club.
Nor has he made any special preparations this year, as this will be his first grass match of the season.
Instead, he has chosen to stay with his preferred surface of clay for as long as possible, with his best performance coming in Geneva, where he got to the semi-finals before losing to the Norwegian Casper Ruud.
Since then, he has played in the French Open, where he reached the second round and, last week, participated in a Challenger event in the Czech Republic. However, he suffered a surprise defeat in the first round to Yosuke Watanuki of Japan, a played ranked 255th in the world.
Thompson v Andujar-Alba Prediction and Tip
Although Andujar-Alba is playing in home conditions and won their only previous match this year, Thompson will start as the favourite to win because of his greater familiarity with grass.
